Cloudlet CPU Adjustment | Effective July 1, 2025

As part of our ongoing efforts to optimize platform performance and ensure fair resource usage across all environments, CloudJiffy is introducing a change to the default CPU allocation per cloudlet. Effective date from July 1, 2025.

What’s Changing?

  • CPU per Cloudlet: Adjusted from 400 MHz to 100 MHz
  • RAM per Cloudlet: Remains unchanged at 128 MB

This update aligns our cloudlet configuration with common industry practices, which typically follow a CPU-to-RAM ratio of 1 core per 3–4 GB RAM. It ensures more consistent performance across the platform and helps prevent uneven CPU consumption by isolated workloads.

Why This Update?

Our platform data shows that over 99% of users already operate within this optimized CPU-to-RAM ratio. This change will help maintain a balanced and efficient environment for all users without requiring changes for most workloads.
